Costa Rica Brunca, Marespi (anaerobic natural) single origin is a premium coffee with fruity notes, suitable for both espresso and filter (V60, Aeropress, Chemex), offering a complex and refined experience. Anaerobic coffee processing is an innovative controlled fermentation technique, used to intensify the flavors and sweetness of the beans. Unlike traditional methods (washed, natural or honey), anaerobic fermentation takes place in an oxygen-free environment, which favors the development of unique and complex flavor profiles.

What means Marespi? This name was born after the union of the two surnames formed by the marriage of the founders who started this project, Rafael Marín and Silvia Espinoza. Marespi Farm 60+ years of experience in the coffee field. In the 1960s, the founders started a small coffee project, today Marespi, one of the most consolidated coffee industries in the Brunca Region – Costa Rica.

Marespi Farm is a small coffee plantation located in the Brunca Region, one of the most prolific coffee growing areas in Costa Rica. This is a family business, renowned for its innovative processing methods and for the high quality coffee produced at altitudes between 1,600 and 1,800 m.
